iOS 12 - UPDATE FOUR: iOS 12 will include new Animojis, such as a T-Rex and a koala bear, and the new Memoji.
The latter lets iOS 12 users create Animojis of themselves, and the new tongue tracking feature means they will show more expressions than ever before.
A demo on-stage showed a Memoji being created, with plenty of different hair styles and glasses styles at Memoji creator's disposal.
You can also use the iPhone camera to superimpose your Memoji's face onto your own body, to create hilarious looking reactions to Messages you receive.
Apple also announced group Facetime, which will support up to 32 people. And you will also be able to superimpose your Memoji onto your body in Facetime chats too.

iOS 12 - UPDATE THREE: iOS 12 will include a number of digital well being features.
One of those is the ‘Do Not Disturb At Bedtime’ feature which ensures that notifications don’t appear at night.
iOS 12 will also include ‘Instant Tuning’ for notifications, so you can send alerts in future straight to the notification centre - or turn them off entirely.
iOS 12 will also include group notifications, so you can swiftly get rid of multiple notifications from one app.
The upcoming software update will also include the new Screen Time feature.
It gives weekly reports on how much time you’re spending on your iPhone and iPad.
It also shows the amount of time you spend on apps, which apps are sending you the most notifications and at what time of day you’re using your phone the most.
In your weekly report, if you feel you are spending too much time on one app, you can limit the amount of time you spend with these apps.
And any time limits you set are synced across your iPad and iPhone.
Parents can also set app limits for their children or set downtime for when they should be putting aside their phone to get ready for bed.

If you do share images of an event you enjoyed with another iOS user, the recipient will receive a matching prompt.
It will then suggest they share their own pictures back with you.
Besides Photos, Siri will also be getting an update with iOS 12.
With the upcoming OS update, Apple will introduce ‘Siri shortcuts’.
This lets you record a voice command to perform an action for you.
So, for instance you can set ‘find my keys’ from the Tile app as a command.
And when you say that prompt your keys will ring if you have the necessary tech set up.
Siri can also on your lock screen make suggestions for gyms or coffee shops to go to nearby.

The new Measure app for iOS 12 will take advantage of improved AR capabilities

iOS 12 - UPDATE ONE: iOS 12 has just been revealed at WWDC 2018 in California.
Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering Craig Federighi took to the stage at the San Jose Convention Center to reveal the upcoming free update.
Federighi announced that iOS 12 will be the “largest base ever” for an Apple release.
It will be available on all devices that can currently run iOS 11 - meaning it will run on the almost five-year-old iPhone 5S handset.
iOS 12 will boast improved AR capabilities, and one app that will take advantage of this is the new Measure app.
Going into the app uses the iPhone or iPad’s camera, and you use this to measure the dimensions of any objects pictured.
Apple also showed off the new ARKit multi-user support with a Lego demonstration.
ARKit 2 now features mutli-user support for up to four people. The Lego demo showed two people on two different Apple devices playing with AR Lego models at the same time.
What one person did in the AR world on their device affected the other person's AR view in real-time.
