Creme Egg sales plunge £6 million after maker brings in 'disgusting' new recipe

Last year was a dark day for chocolate fans – when Cadbury unveiled a new, not improved recipe for Creme Egg.
But Britain’s Creme Egg fans have struck Kraft, the new owner of Cadbury, where it hurts – as sales slumped £6 million in one year.

Research by analysts IRI found that the brand dropped £6 million in sales in 2015, narrowing its market share from 42% to 40%.
Below is a small sample of what people think of the new eggs, where the Dairy Milk chocolate is replaced by ‘milk’ chocolate.
