One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.. Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The answer is that nations, people, firms, etc. all over the world fight for nonsensical reasons that barely disguise the fact that people misunderstand and are jealous of differences with their  neighbors . True, differences do set us apart--but we forget one thing: we are all human and our personalities are often different, even within the same culture or family. Not only did 80s pop music define who we were, but the music held the anthems of our daily lives. We woke up to “Manic Mondays” with the Bangles just to find ourselves “hangin tough” with the New Kids On The Block by the time Wednesday or Thursday rolled around. The revived show will be produced by current rights-holders Endemol, with  Harry Hill   in line to host, according to  Forbes . Originally launched in July 1990 with Leslie Crowther as presenter,  Stars in Their Eyes  was a regular Saturday night primetime fixture until late 2006. A number of celebrity editions of the show - featuring contestants impersonating famous singers - were also produced by Granada Television. Matthew Kelly and Cat Deeley were also regular hosts of  Stars in Their Eyes , which won four NTAs and regularly attracted audiences of millions for its live grand finals. What is treasure? Beauty, truth, peace, happiness. You already have what you seek. You already are stunningly beautiful. You are already peaceful and loving. How come you don’t know this? Simple, you never look inwards, beyond superficial memories or recent experiences, so you never see your own riches. Take a moment to stop, look in and see. Don’t rush. Don’t search. Just look. Tributes have been paid to the BBC Radio Bristol presenter, Trevor Fry who has died, at the age of 68. He started his career on hospital radio before moving to Bristol's first commercial station, Radio West in 1982. He joined BBC Radio Bristol in 1997 and presented the Sunday Morning Breakfast Show and the Late Show. Managing Editor of BBC Radio Bristol, Tim Pemberton, said: "Trevor was an outstanding broadcaster, colleague and friend…and will be greatly missed." Trevor Fry won a Radio Academy Award for his tribute programme to the World War One veteran, Harry Patch Trevor Fry had wanted to work for the BBC since he was seven-years- old. Whatever is in your heart that is not clean, not true, will ultimately begin to act like a wall, obstructing the natural flow of love. People who say that there is no love in their life, are being blocked by this wall. Actually there is love, but they just can’t accept it. Ego is the clearest example of this. Ego limits the flow of love by placing conditions on the love you give and receive. Ego uses love to satisfy its own needs and desires. It produces a love which is deceptive, one which brings only temporary satisfaction. Ego does not allow you to experience true love or share it. If fact, ego is capable of destroying your ability to feel love altogether.

It has been announced that Virgin Rail Group ("VRG"), has agreed a new West Coast rail franchise with the Department for Transport ("DfT"). Passengers and taxpayers will benefit from a multi-million-pound package of significant improvements, including more seats, new services and free super fast wifi for all customers. VRG is a joint venture between Stagecoach and Virgin Group and operates the West Coast franchise through its Virgin Trains brand.  The new franchise will commence on 22 June 2014 and run until 31 March 2017. The DfT has the option to extend the contract by an additional year to 31 March 2018. The new West Coast contract will provide: •  More seats : More than 20 of trains will have one of their First Class carriages converted to Standard Class. Ahanan (Cornish for ‘from us’) was formed by Chris (Cadwur) James and Alan Jones and grew out of the numerous music projects which Chris had been involved in for many years. Chris, a celebrated and gifted musician and composer studied at the Royal College of Music; was one-time editor of a leading periodical for violinists and had worked with many house-hold names in both the classical and traditional genres.
