UEFA recently revealed the new branding for the UEFA Champions League. The UEFA Champions League brand for the 2018/19 season has a vibrant new look, based on a concept called 'Highlighting moments that make the ultimate stage'. UEFA revisits its competition brand identity every three years, in sync with the commercial cycle of broadcast and sponsorship rights. Compared with previous brand identity updates, the new design is a bigger change. While the 'starball' visual gains importance in the new identity, the distinct and successful 'ultimate stage' arena still features in the branding package. This provides an extended range of key visuals that can be used for communication purposes, both internally as well as by UEFA's partners.

The Class 802's have now entered service in Cornwall. The Class 802 Intercity Express Train (802003 and 005) ran for the very first time on Monday 20th August with passengers on board, forming the 0553 Plymouth to London Paddington service. A second train (802 006 and 007) formed the 0730 London Paddington to Penzance service. ScotRail has announced that its first fully upgraded InterCity train has arrived in Scotland. The high-speed train travelled from Doncaster and crossed the border, ahead of its arrival at Haymarket depot in Edinburgh. It will enter service between Aberdeen and Edinburgh "in the coming weeks", once crew training is complete. A total of 17 five-carriage and nine four-carriage trains will be used on lines linking Scotland's seven cities. ScotRail said the upgraded trains offered more seats and increased luggage space than its current fleet. Each train also has a new cafe area on board in addition to the usual trolley service. The upgrade is part of ScotRail's planned £475m investment in rolling stock over seven years. " Crabbit  ", also variously titled " Anyone called Derek ", [1]  " Look Closer Nurse ", " Kate ", " Open Your Eyes " or " What Do You See? ", is a poem written in 1966 by Phyllis McCormack, then working as a nurse in  Sunnyside Hospital ,  Montrose . The poem is written in the voice of an old woman in a nursing home who is reflecting upon her life.  Crabbit  is  Scots  for "bad-tempered" or "grumpy". The poem appeared in the  Nursing Mirror  in December 1972 without attribution. Phyllis McCormack explained in a letter to the journal that she wrote the poem in 1966 for her hospital newsletter. This story was corroborated by an article from the  Daily Mail  on 12 March 1998, where Phyllis McCormack's son wrote that his mother composed it in the 1960s, when she submitted it anonymously with the title "Look Closer Nurse" to a small magazine intended just for Sunnyside.
