Firstly as you all read yesterday, The Duchess of Cambridge was in Labour, well as you are all aware she has now given birth to a 8lb 6oz baby Boy (our future King after The Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Cambridge) My congratulations to both parents on this and as I write this Prince Charles has arrived to see his new Grandson alongside The Duchess of Cornwall. Earlier today the Maternal Grandparents have already seen the baby and is enthralled to see him, as yet no official name has been announced. In my daily browsing of all my networks I am linked to, I came across this next picture and thought I share it to celebrate The Royal Birth. Now as you have gathered this is a Photo Shop edited picture (all rights reserved to Cornwall Air Ambulance) but I said I dread to think what it be like if The Royal Couple had a girl, they replied it be like this. Now for my international readers of my Blog, I reassure you that Cornwall Air Ambulance is neither Blue or Pink. In reality it is ...

The Royal Baby

This Blog is the report from BBC News that broke this Morning The Duchess of Cambridge has been taken to hospital in the early stages of labour, Kensington Palace has said. She travelled by car from the palace to St Mary's in Paddington, west London, with her husband the Duke of Cambridge. The couple do not know the sex of their first child, who will be third in line to the throne. "Things are progressing as normal", said a spokesman. The next official announcement is likely to be that of the birth. The world's press have been camped outside St Mary's for days in anticipation of the birth. The due date had never been officially announced but had widely been expected to be mid-July. Royal vehicles were seen at a back entrance to the hospital at about 06:00 BST, with the announcement coming from Kensington Palace an hour-and-a-half later. The couple travelled to the hospital without a police escort, their spokesman said. The duchess is being tended by ...

Eights Months on...

Image
Eight Months ago I was still travelling in the midsts of "Middle England", it was near enough 3 months since Nan had died, it was eight months ago that my dream was about to be born. Yes it is true and remains very true that this Blog Site is eight months old this coming week. After careful analysis of my analytics, 2,554 of you have seen my Blog. I would set a challenge in achieving a goal, but I do not set goals, its all about what you read that matter so numbers are not important. As you know I use Wise Words, I admit I am not Wise as you are all aware, often my words offend, or gets me into trouble. I know for a fact I do not mean to offend or upset anyone in anything I write, I write as a relief to express how I feel in a rational way and talk of subjects that may sound totally random but there is meaning to everything I write and research. So after 2,554 views of my Blog, and me travelling as far as Kilmarnock (which I enjoyed) to being here at Wise Words Manor or to ju...

Social Media & Poetry

Image
Social media is poetry in motion. It is a symphony of various content and platforms all working together. Each platform with a different pace, tone and frequency that resonates a message of harmony. Now I want you to remember, I am a Social Media guy, not a writer. That being said, we all know that humour, fun and creative content tends to get a tad more traction then stodgy old articles. So, I had an idea…  Why create an actual poem using the platforms and technologies we all utilize and wrap it up with a point? Here is my attempt at creative social media poetry that makes a subtle yet profound point.  I hope you enjoy it. On Facebook I stare at my wall and wonder if I know you all. I go to Twitter, thence to tweet of what I wear and what I eat. I think I’ll grab a book or two, then head to Goodreads to review. My blog post page is blank and white I’ve not a clue of what to write. I’ll visit other blogs instead and comment there on what was...

Wise Words on Youtube

Image
Firstly I would like to say I am sorry, but beyond all of control even myself, my previous post had to be taken down, not to worry this Blog has videos which could be better then talking lol. I let you decide on that, anyhow these videos are the videos I have created on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/channels?q=david+hackett  it gives a brief outline on what or who I am like as a person. The first video was an inspiring video, it gives out the impression that I had a vision, well actually I did and that was to start this Blog, the music is from Doctor Who and is one of the best tracks ever, it is called Song of Freedom by Murray Gold. This wasn't my first video though, this next Video shows us the raw and gritty feel that I have encountered as I have never done video production until now. The Words described in this video are of my own, but due to no recorder at home I had to find an online voice recorder which translated my speech into vocal audio. The track is by Jame...
