Best Black Friday deals 2015: Where to get the best gadget savings

If you're about to pop out to buy a new laptop, TV or tablet, stop. What are you thinking?! Black Friday 2015 is just weeks away, with thousands of tech deals set to save you significant sums on the year's must-have gadgets.
Our bastardised version of the American holiday has become a pretty big deal over the past couple of years, and this November is set to be bigger – and more wallet-friendly – than ever. While you work on saving the pennies, here's everything you need to know about Black Friday 2015, and the subsequent Cyber Monday.

The biggest shopping day of the year is almost upon us. The day after our American cousins tuck into their Thanksgiving turkey, we'll be queuing outside shops hoping to get our mitts on the best techy bargains around.
This year, that fateful day falls on November 27. So you've not got long to wait – or much time to practise your department store brawling. Given the size of the occasion, you're going to have to be alert to offers the moment the clock ticks midnight into the big day, too.
Online retailers such as Amazon will be kicking off their sales as soon as the clock reads 00:00. If you still prefer the brick and mortar experience though, you're going to want to set your alarms pretty early. Many stores are expected to fling open their doors at 8am – urgh.

If our ability to count is still on point, Cyber Monday – online retailers' second stab at trying to clear cut-price stocks – will follow just three days later. You'd better add November 30 to your diaries as well then.

Having kicked off in the UK with Amazon, most major retailers and high street names have now jumped firmly on the Black Friday bandwagon. That means plenty of choice. And plenty of offers when it comes to splashing your cash.
Amazon will again be a driving force in pushing cut-price tech, despite its semi-recent Prime Day Deals efforts. It will be far from alone though. John Lewis is going big on Black Friday this year. So big in fact, that weeks ahead of the big day it's already launched its dedicated Black Friday page.
It's not the only one either. Argos hasn't only launched its Black Friday page, it's encouraging users to register their interest already to ensure they're first in the know on the best deals.
Other prominent tech pushers you can expect to get firmly behind the day of sales include Currys PC World, Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, Asda, eBay, Maplin and expansys. To name just a few. If you're holding out for a heavily reduced iPhone 6S, however, you might be waiting for some time yet - Apple's not a classic Black Friday convert.
