Casualty has revealed that a huge stunt will rock the hospital in the show's special 30th anniversary episode.
Cast and crew have filmed a feature-length film-style episode which hits our screens this August, as the BBC One medical drama celebrates 30 years on the air in style.
While we're used to seeing the Emergency Department dealing with disasters in the surrounding area, Casualty's anniversary will feature a "dramatic and shocking stunt" that hits the very heart of the hospital.
Little more is known about the incident itself at the moment, but fans can expect to see key characters in peril and well-loved faces from the past return.
Familiar faces from Casualty's sister show Holby City will also feature as part of the drama, as Jac Naylor (Rosie Marcel), Henrik Hanssen (Guy Henry), and Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) play key parts in the episode.

Naturally, original character Charlie Fairhead will also be taking centre stage as he leads the ED team in their moment of crisis.
Casualty's executive producer Oliver Kent commented: "Casualty's 30th anniversary episode is a huge celebration of everything that the show does best.
"The episode, titled 'Too Old For This Shift' - written by Matthew Barry and Andy Bayliss and directed by Steve Hughes - is a feature-length action movie which will make the audience gasp, laugh and cry buckets.
"There will be plenty of surprises for the audience, including some old faces that they won't have seen for a while. Best of all, it has the incredible Charlie Fairhead centre stage."

Derek Thompson, who plays Charlie, added: "From day one of filming Casualtyin 1986, I've been so proud of it's true to life storytelling, representing everything the NHS stands for.
"I've been a part of a few anniversaries over the years, but this really feels like a significant moment in British television history."
The BBC National Orchestra of Wales will also be recording a special soundtrack for this episode at BBC Hoddinott Hall, their home in Cardiff Bay.
Casualty airs its 30th anniversary special on Saturday, August 27.
